Mcintosh unlikely to face Power
North Melbourne coach Brad Scott said "We think it's probably going to be one to two (weeks), but he thinks he's a good chance this week. We'll give him every chance but we certainly won't take any risks."

Gibbs not taking the AFL by storm
In pre-season Carlton coach Brett Ratten suggested it was Gibbs year to take over in the AFL, but so far this has not been the case. He has been playing as a midfielder floating into defence. Carlton great Mark Maclure suggests Gibbs needs to move back into his tagging role to help revive his season.

Lions Physical Performance Manager Brett Burton told Lions fans during his weekly Bupa Recovery Report on LIONS TV that “Jed should be fine this week.”

Hanley in the mix
Hanley was subbed out of the game last weekend at half time with a minor hamstring complaint. Lions Physical Performance Manager Brett Burton told Lions fans during his weekly Bupa Recovery Report on LIONS TV that "Pearce is coming along well. He had a bit of soreness in the hamstring, but he’s been up and running. If he gets through our main training session then he should be right to go.”

Gibson probable for Round 8
Hawks football operations general manager Mark Evans told AFL.com.au on Wednesday "He (Gibson) was pretty close last week. He's obviously got a reasonable training session to get through tomorrow, but if he comes through that OK he'll play."

Hawks football operations general manager Mark Evans told AFL.com.au on Wednesday that Hodge "Probably [hasn't stepped up his training] as much as we'd thought at this stage." They seem likely to take a cautious approach.
